I am a teacher and designer from Austin, TX. I am currently an Associate Professor at Texas State University where I have been coordinating the BFA in Communication Design Program for the past four years. before that I was an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York, New Paltz. And prior to that I was a Critic in the Department of Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and Adjunct Faculty member at Parsons the New School for Design where I taught in the Communication Design Program while living in New York.

Currently, I print, design, animate and publish at Track and Field (with Marc Choi). Since starting in 2006 as an Art Director at the Chicago Tribune I worked with Whitehouse and Company, Trollbäck + Company, and C&G Partners on projects for Union Station, Washington, DC; Prudential Financial, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Game Show Network, Fuse TV, Nonprofit Finance Fund.
